Been awhile Triathlon Update

It has been awhile since I wrote, I have really been focused on the Rev 3 at Cedar point the 1/2 ironman. So my training has been really cranked up and alot of time on the rode and in the lake.
I had a good month of August with the Olympic distances and still placing in the top 5 or higher in my triathlons. My biggest concern I have now is am I ready for the Half and how will things go? I will update you on the result after the 12th. Worry never added a minute to anyone life.

Training a July

As June wrapped up I had a successful sprint season, with top 5 finishes in my division and placing 3rd at Peru. These results were very affirming in regards to my training process. I took the month of July to focus on the Olympic distances and also a 1/2 marathon on Aug 1. I wonder if I will have the same results in the Olympic distances as I did with the sprint tri's The training went well till vacation and the start of school, time seems to go and have to get a new focus on training. Although what will come of my training for the 1/2 ironman if I am unable to find the time to train? It would appear that weekends will be packed with training.

Triathlon Season Began

I have trained for the mini marathon and sprint triathlons and have already competed and completed 3 with great results a 7th, 3rd and 4th in my age/group division. My training plan was set up great and I was excited to get the season started.

I have now set my sights on the Olympic distances and have begun my training plan, with A.M. and P.M. workouts, I will use our planned vacation to be a recovery phase as then I will move into the next level of training. With the ultimate goal of completing a 1/2 ironman in Sept. You have to be a little crazy to be a triathlete but that is what I love about it. I will keep you updated on how the training and how I feel as I et into my plan.
