It is surprisingly a better day once you try to remove the negatives and confront the negatives head on.  Or it may be the fact the negatives to the day are there or are absent in that day.  Lately as I am trying to get back on track physically, I noticed it is harder to do if you are not mentally and emotionally ready for physical balance.
I am not sure if it is just me or the time of year but, the negatives seem to outweigh the positives.  I will try to continue to balance the -'s with the positives.
How big should a goal be, reachable or just outside the norms of reachable?  I have accomplished 6 -13.1  races.  Numerous triathlons 12+  and a 70.3.  My original goal was a full Ironman in Hawaii.....  That has not happened as I have not won a slot in the lottery.
Would a full ironman not at a M-dot branded event have the same prestige?

Still formulating my goal. ........???!

Well, it is time again to get refocused and throw all negative things out of my daily life.
There has been a lot going on in then last year and a half.  But it is time to set a life goal in motion. Diet, workouts, and family life as a husband and father.  1st workout of new season was conducted on fitocracy, love the website and points and levels to encourage fitness.  I will state my goal in next few days as I formulate it and the specifics.

Thoughts

Well today I watched my nephew and then really just sat around and did nothing. went to subway and got a foot long chicken sun with all the toppings for lunch and then for supper went to McDonald's and got a 20 piece nugget and a large fry and ate it all. Then once nephew was picked up I went on a run, and ran 4 miles at my normal pace.

Rough Winter training Cycle

I started to train for a marathon in preparation of a Full Ironman in the later summer, although it did not seem to go as expected. With all of the cold temperatures and snow and my schedule it seemed to be tough to complete the takes by the expected date Jan 29th. Although I took a couple weeks off and then, have tried to start back up. I have since moved my training and in the mean time of 2 weeks of not running I have gained 4-5 pounds. There seems to be alot of other distractions that are not allowing me to focus my time on training, and the time commitment that is necessary makes it very tough. Went on a 4 mile run and it seemed to be a breeze, but then knee pain after the run?????? Not sure what that was about.
